North Bend Restaurant

The North Bend Dining Room located in the lodge is open daily throughout the year and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu features a large variety of selections at a very reasonable price. Join us for our Sunday afternoon Lunch Buffet and Thursday Nights at North Bend.

The North Bend Dining Room is available to cater banquets, cookouts and receptions.

Picnic Shelters

North Bend offers three picnic shelters. They are perfect for family reunions, group cookouts and even weddings. Two of the picnic shelters rent for $65 without electric and one rents for $100 with electric (rates subject to change without notice). The shelters may be reserved from mid-April through the end of October by calling 1-800-CALL-WVA.

Gift Shops

A gift shop is located in the main lodge. Items range from glasses items, plush animals, candles, t-shirts, books, novelty items, jewelry, and much more.

Carriage Rides

North Bend State Park offers horse drawn carriage rides on weekends from May until October. This is a great way to experience the North Bend Rail Trail. The carriage may also be reserved for special group rides.

Bicycle rentals

Ride our "HARO" bikes on the miles of mountain bike trails at North Bend State Park or North Bend Rail Trail for easy riding and some beautiful scenery. 

• Bike Rates are: $4 per hour or $25 a day
• Rentals include helmets (most bikes have water bottle cage, bring your own bottle) 
• Bike sizes available are: 16- 20- 24- and 26-inch.
• Bikes and all frame sizes for everyone.
• Bike rentals are available at River Run Campground Check-in Station. 

Conference Rooms

North Bend State Park is a great site for small and large groups. North Bend welcomes family reunions, church retreats, business meetings, banquets, or any event.

In addition to the 29 lodge rooms and 9 deluxe cabins, North Bend also offers two conference areas. Arrangements are also available for a relaxing meeting in one of the cabins, suite, or outdoor areas.

There is no charge for audio/visual equipment or set up fees at North Bend.

Each conference room rents for $50 per day. This fee is waived with the rental of five or more rooms or a restaurant bill totaling $150 or more. The conference room cannot be rented more than 60 days in advance, unless five or more rooms are booked.

NOTE: Group reservations are accepted for three years in advance.

To qualify for group reservations three years in advance, the rental of 15 or more lodge rooms and/or all of the cabins will be required.

Group reservations for two years in advance or less will require the rental of five to 15 lodge rooms and/or less than all the cabins. Two-year group reservations can be made the first day of the month you wish to have the reservation two (three) years in advance.

Group reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Groups that meet the above rental criteria may also reserve the conference room and/or picnic shelter.
